BOTOX® is used to effectively and safely improve the appearance of frown lines, forehead creases and crows feet by relaxing the underlying muscles.
BOTOX® is a purified protein administered in a simple, non-surgical procedure that temporarily improves the appearance of moderate to severe lines caused by certain facial expressions.
A major cause of wrinkles, in addition to tanning and smoking, is our natural use of facial muscles. The constant use of these muscles results in lines that make us look angry and tired.
BOTOX® blocks the chemicals that cause facial muscles to contract, thereby relaxing them. Very low doses are administered via a few tiny injections into the muscles that cause these stubborn lines. BOTOX® not only softens the lines but because the muscles are prevented from contracting, it also prevents new ones from forming.
There is a delicate art to injecting BOTOX and extensive knowledge of facial musculature is very important. The goal is to relax certain muscles without limiting your facial expression.
BOTOX® is FDA approved for severe axillary hyperhidrosis. If you have difficulty with excessive sweating such as your hands and underarms. This procedure may be a possible treatment for you: BOTOX® severe sweating.

Juvéderm® XC is a new, FDA-approved formula of the effective Juvéderm dermal filler that contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic, to minimize the mild discomfort previously associated with this treatment. Injected directly into targeted areas of the skin, Juvéderm reduces the appearance of wrinkles and folds while also smoothing skin for an overall enhanced appearance.
The new Juvéderm XC eliminates the need for additional anesthetic, as well as the wait time of up to 30 minutes for the numbness to take effect. The lidocaine contained within this injection takes only seconds to spread across the treatment area. Results are reported to last up to a year, making Juvéderm one of the most commonly requested treatments.
